Terms and conditions

These terms and conditions are designed to protect both blue turtle casitas and its guests, ensuring a pleasant and hassle-free stay.

1. Reservations

We require a deposit of 25% of the total booking value to hold a reservation.

2. Cancellation Policy

If the reservation is canceled 30 days or more prior to the arrival date, the guest will receive a full refund of the deposit. If the cancellation is made between 29 and 15 days before the scheduled arrival date, there will be a refund of 50% of the deposit.

Cancellations made 14 or fewer days before the arrival date will forfeit their deposit. Rates are subject to change without prior notice, but the agreed upon price at the time of booking will be honored.

3. Check-in and Check-out

  1. Check-in: From 3pm to 9pm. (late check-ins can be arranged in advance)
  2. Check-out: By 11:00am.
  3. Late check-outs may be available upon prior request and are subject to availability and an additional fee.

4. Children Policy

  1. Blue Turtle casitas are ideal for couples or solo travelers.

But up to 2 children are welcome under the age of 15 with an additional cleaning fee of $25 US. Older children might be most comfortable in their own casita.

5. Pool Use

  1. The pool is shared among guests of the three casitas.
  2. Pool hours are from 7am to 9pm
  3. Pool use is not permitted after 9pm.
  4. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  5. Glass containers are not allowed in the pool area.
  6. The pool patio area is an uneven surface. There is no running and please use caution.
  7. using the pool is at your own risk.

6. Pet Policy

Tracie and I love animals and will consider welcoming your well behaved pets with arrangements made in advance. We have 2 super friendly cats (Danzante and Pardito) and a sweet dog (Canela), so our first concern is how a visiting dog or cat will interact with our pets. Since that is hard to determine in advance, we consider our place pet free, but are willing to have a conversation around how it will work if your dog chases our cats or fights with our dog. In other words, we are open to allowing your 4 legged traveling companions on the property, but need to have a plan B in place in the event of discord.

7. No Smoking Policy

  1. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property. Please take a walk if you’d like to smoke.

8. Guest Responsibility

  1. Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property during their stay and will be charged for the repair or replacement costs.
  2. The management is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings within the casitas or common areas. Please lock your doors when you leave the property and at night, and don’t leave valuables outside overnight.

9. Force Majeure

  1. The property is not responsible for events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, power outages, or other circumstances that may affect your stay.

10. Jurisdiction

  1. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Mexico and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Baja California Sur, México.
